Every file is broken into fragments before it ever leaves your control. A fragment on its own is not a weakened version of your file — it is nothing at all.
Fragments are distributed across a resilient mesh of separate storage resources. Compromising one location yields no data, and losing one does not lose your file.
Access is proven with a private code bound to your device and identity, so a stolen password alone can never open your vault.
You drag a file into Citadel. Nothing else is asked of you.
The file is compressed and stripped of recoverable structure.
It is separated into fragments that carry no independent meaning.
Fragments are placed across the mesh, in the environments you allow.
Only your authenticated identity can reassemble the original, byte for byte.
