How do I put files in?
Drag them onto any screen in Citadel, or browse for them. Folder structures are preserved and large uploads resume if interrupted.

What happens to a file?
It is reduced, separated into fragments with no independent meaning, and distributed across the storage environments you allow.
How do I get it back?
Download it. Fragments are reassembled for your authenticated account and verified against the checksum recorded when you stored it.
Everything you can do.
Organise files into nested folders. Switch between list and grid. Select, open, rename, move, copy, favourite, archive, download or delete. Search across the vault. Review your private activity history.
Storage shows what you have used, what remains and where your data is held, in plain numbers.
What you will not find.
No sharing, no links, no guests, no comments, no collaboration features and no social surface. Every one of those is a way for data to leave, and Citadel exists to keep it in.
That restraint is the product, not a missing feature.

- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Citadel runs in the browser.
- Is there a second authentication step?
- Yes, a private code you set up with any standard authenticator app. We strongly recommend enabling it.
- Can I add capacity later?
- Yes, from the Storage screen, at any point in your annual term.
